Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius to Coach Poker

An old adage says, "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach." But this saying is about to get a little less true when it comes to poker. Poker players looking to improve their game will be interested to know that they will soon have the chance to take a lesson from one of the great cash game players active today, Tom Dwan. Dwan will give the first lesson of his career on April 19, 2011 on the soon-to-be launched website Expert Insight. Patrik Antonius will be coaching on April 18,2011. Brandon Adams, founder of Expert Insight, plans to make his site a revolutionary new home for coaching from established authorities in a diverse array of fields, including poker.

Those interested in winning the first coaching session from Dwan can place bids in the Two Plus Two Poker Forum. Bidding begins at $3000, and Adams will periodically Tweet updates on current bids on his Twitter account. A majority of the proceeds from the auction will go to the Morris Jeff Community School, a new open access public charter school located in New Orleans, Louisiana.

If Dwan's success as a player is any indication, he has much to offer anyone looking to improve his or her game. The 24 year-old native of New Jersey has won seven money finishes at the World Series of Poker, as well as two money finishes and one final table at the World Poker Tour. He is also known as a great online player for Team Full Tilt, playing under the screen name "durrrr."

Dwan is not the only poker player offering his services on Expert Insight. Adams states that, of the twenty experts participating in the site's launch during the week of April 18, eight are poker players. In addition to Dwan, this number includes another major name in the world of poker, Finland-born Patrik Antonius. Antonius, who is also a member of Team Fill Tilt, has racked up well over $3 million in lifetime winnings. Antonius will give his lesson on April 18, and those who hope to be his first student can bid on Adams' Twitter account as well.

Lessons on Expert Insight will be conducted via an online audio-visual conference call similar to Skype. Each lesson is given in a one-on-one format, so the learner's needs will be the sole focus of the call. The auction is already underway, so those interested should place their bids soon.
