Full Tilt's Race to the Main Event World Series of Poker Qualifier

Ever dreamed of playing and winning at the World Series of Poker? It's hard to imagine many poker players saying no. And for those who want to do more than just dream, Full Tilt Poker is offering a way. Its "Race to the Main Event" not only offers players the chance to win their way into the WSOP Main Event for the next two years, it also offers the single biggest bonus in the world of poker.

The Race to the Main Event will award 50 qualifiers with prize packages worth $10,000 at the 2011 WSOP Main Event. Furthermore, those who make it to the Main Event and finish in the money will be awarded with a free seat at next year's Main Event as well. Yes, $10 million, paid out in $1 million installments over the next ten years, will go to anybody who makes it to the Main Event through Fill Tilt's contest and wins. The prize comes with a few string attached—the recipient has to spend at least 10 hours a week playing on Full Tilt's site, for example, and will need to make occasional promo appearances—but nothing that most players would not be willing to do.

If that offer entices you, there are two ways you can join in on the Race. First, you can play a Round 1 Sit & Go Freeroll game, offered round the clock on Full Tilt Poker. Winners move on the daily Round 2 Freeroll tournament. The top two finishers of Round 2 will go on to the weekly Final Freeroll tournament, where the winner will be awarded with the $10,000 seat.

Second, Full Tilt offers a few "shortcuts." Those making first-time money deposits at Full Tilt and those who refer a friend to the site will immediately advance to Round 2. Any player who earns at least 3,000 Full Tilt Points in a single week is automatically eligible to play in the weekly Final Freeroll. The contest began on March 23 and continues through the last Final Freeroll on June 26. Finals are held every Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
